Description

Lion of Judah Series | Original 30×40 Acrylic Painting on Canvas. Scripture: Revelation 22:17, “The Spirit and the Bride Say Come!” This is a gallery-wrapped painting on a black background and one of three paintings reflecting the relationship between the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit with the body of Christ.

The Pure Bride reflects a few things. The vibrant light of Christ shining through His anointing in His Bride. Also, how Christ died to make His Bride, those who believe in Him as a collective, Holy, Pure, and Blameless in the sight of His Father, and second, it reflects the role of the Holy Spirit and the way He both introduces us to the longing of Christ’s heart for purity in His Bride, and the longing of our heart for our Bridegroom to come.

This Bride is holding a scroll, a declaration of covenant and betrothal, with a golden dove resting on the covenant. The Covenant is bound by love (pink), and through the love and covenant of Christ in our lives – we long, too, for the Bride to be complete – with our gaze set simultaneously upon the world He died for and the King who loves us.

She wears a crown, as a co-heir with Christ, the crown signifies her position in the royal Kingdom of God, and her authority. The roses displayed around her are the pleasing aroma and bouquet that her life reflects toward the Bridegroom.

His blood became her dowry.

His truth became her freedom.

His love became her banner.

His righteousness became her

His peace became her lifestyle.

His griefs became her joy.

His hope became her dream.

His promises became her life.

His healing became her portion.

His abundance became her provision.

His victory became her battle cry.

His cup overflows in her life.

“…Christ’s love makes the church whole. His words evoke her beauty. Everything he does and says is designed to bring the best out of her, dressing her in dazzling white silk, radiant with holiness. And that is how husbands ought to love their wives. They’re really doing themselves a favor—since they’re already ‘one’ in marriage.” ~ Ephesians 5:25-28 MSG

“Blessed are the pure in  heart, for they shall see God.” ~ Matthew 5:8 NASB
